Not sure when I’ll get to take in another long run, since I’m being banished to a small, unfamiliar town for awhile, working rotating shifts, and may have to make do with a treadmill
. Five miles. The problem with running out stress is that I get so lost in thought I forget to breathe properly. It’s good because the inclines don’t really get to me, but it’s the breathing that gets you. Actually got some decent sleep these past couple nights, surprising with noisy neighbors and my mental state.

Wow, the weather is FABULOUS. Seven miles with some hills - had to walk just a little bit :( And avoided getting smushed by negligent drivers twice. Wow, those inclines…it’s done, I feel great, although my left arch was aching here and there. Not a good sign?

In a short while I am going to attempt to run more than 6 miles, ideally 7-8. It’s been a looong time since this has been done, so we’ll see…the route I have in mind has a .25 mi of incline [at least] so we are going to take it nice and easy…wish me luck

31 min on the elliptical, level 5 crossramp, level 10 resistance, for 3 mi. Then some planks. Ugh. Had to cut the workout short today due to an early meeting. Didn’t feel like I did anything, so I’m hoping to do a longer run tomorrow. By long I mean more than 6 miles. This time last year I was doing quite a bit. Sigh. Eating Chocolate Chex…yum

Not sure on the time, but it was a nice, warm night. My left knee is starting to feel all funky - sympathy pains for the right? :) Still a bit sore from snowshoeing but it’s totally worth it. Cute guy running, too bad he must be super young.
